This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it when you use the calculator or request help.
Information we collect
We collect the contact details and planning information you submit, such as your name, email, phone number, city, licence origin, driving experience and request preferences.
How information is used
We use the information to respond to your request, match you with relevant driving or insurance services, prevent misuse and improve the service. We do not sell contact details as an unrelated mailing list.
Sharing and retention
We may share a request with suitable service providers only to fulfil the match or quote you requested. Records are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for service, legal and fraud-prevention purposes.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct or delete your submitted information by contacting privacy@drivingschool.ca. We may retain limited records where required by law.
Voice transcription
If you use the voice button, a short audio recording is sent securely to OpenAI only to convert your speech into text. DrivingSchool.ca does not save the audio recording. You can type instead.
Instructor and insurance request sharing
Instructor requests may be shared with one or more verified Ontario driving schools or instructors only to arrange the requested match. Insurance requests may be shared with one or more licensed Ontario insurance brokers, agents or insurers only to respond to the requested automobile insurance quote. Each form requires an unticked opt-in and records the applicable consent version and time. Providers may not use the information for unrelated marketing.
